Lorenzo is an Italian lawyer specialising in sanctions, maritime regulatory compliance and shipping law.
He graduated with honours in Law from the University of Milan and completed professional training with leading law firms in London specialising in shipping and ship finance before qualifying as a lawyer in 2010.
Throughout his career, Lorenzo has advised shipowners, insurers, financial institutions and maritime operators on shipping and transport law, ship finance, shipbuilding and refitting projects, sale and purchase transactions, insurance claims and complex regulatory matters. He has developed particular expertise in international sanctions, maritime compliance, safety regulations and governance frameworks affecting the shipping industry.
He is a founding partner of SLPC and acts as Of Counsel to Camera & Partners.
Lorenzo regularly lectures at industry seminars and training programmes and has authored numerous publications in specialist maritime law reviews. He has also held governance and supervisory roles within corporate compliance frameworks and served in public institutional positions at local level.
